Seattle Chinatown Seafair Parade

For over 50 years, The Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce has been the designated organization to host the annual Chinatown Seafair Parade. Our Parade is a part of the city-wide Seafair Summer Celebration and is one of the largest of all community parades. The Chinatown Seafair Parade, held in the heart of Chinatown, is usually set one week before the Seattle Seafair Torchlight Parade in downtown Seattle. It is famous for its rich ethnic flavors, the 100-foot dragon, and the Chinese Community Girls Drill Team in traditional Chinese opera costume. Added in recent years are many other Asian performance groups participating along with the traditional floats, and drill teams. The Chinatown Seafair Parade provides two hours of fun and entertainment for the thousands of spectators who line up along the street's hours before start.
