DESCRIPTION:The annual Seattle Dragon Boat Festival is scheduled for Saturday\, June 13\, 2026. \nThe traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival\, also known as the Duanwu Festival\, commemorates the ancient poet Qu Yuan and includes dragon boat races\, food\, and folk entertainment. Our festival strives to bring this exciting and vibrant tradition to Seattle\, with dragon boat races on Lake Union with plenty of viewing for spectators\, and Asian cultural performances\, food trucks\, vendors\, and activities in Lake Union Park. \nThe festival is hosted by the Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club\, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to further awareness and participation in the sport of dragon boating. This is a family-friendly event with free admission\, we invite you to join us for a celebration of Asian sport and culture!

DESCRIPTION:Last year we celebrated the 65th Anniversary of Duvall Days with an ode to the beginnings of our historic Snoqualmie Valley event\, a throwback to the original verbiage\, Duvall “Daze!”This year we have another Anniversary! It’s the 50th year of Duvall “Days!” Haha\, we know it’s a wee bit confusing\, but nonetheless\, we celebrate all facets along the journey that’s brought us to the present rendition of the event. \nThe “Small Town / Real Life” community spirit of Duvall\, WA & the lower Snoqualmie Valley will be on full display. Mark your calendars for June 5th & 6th\, 2026 as the festival will kick off Friday night June 5th with the REF 5K Run & live music in downtown. \nSaturday\, June 6th will kick off with the Duvall Days Grand Parade. Duvall’s Main Street will be closed to traffic & become a pedestrian mall lined with vendor booths\, live music\, local youth performances\, & activities. The fun spills over into local parks where visitors enjoy kids’ play zones\, contests/games\, food vendors\, a beer garden\, & more. Duvall Days showcases some of the best local & regional musical acts throughout the day on multiple stages & at McCormick Park for the evening Main Stage. And\, last but not least\, following the Main Stage performances we have the event finale\, fireworks! Thanks to all who’ve supported the event through the it’s history!

Come visit our picturesque northwest riverside town and experience some old town Summer fun. \nThere is sure to be something for the whole family! \nFriday July 18th-kicks off the weekend with the always free Frogtastic Kid’s fair\, where kids can be kids. (located at Averill field next to the Boys and Girls club from 3PM to &PM). \nAfter the kids have their fun it’s time for our first ever Teen Night! Teens from 12 to 18 are welcome to join the fun at the new Teen Center inside the Snohomish Boys and Girls club. Activities such as video game tournaments\, dodgeball in the gym\, and ice cream parties are just a few things happening at the Teen center. \nSaturday’s festivities start at 10am with the Kla Ha Ya days parade! Don’t forget to come early and enjoy a free pancake breakfast! Is there a better way to wait for a parade? Presented by Snohomish Chamber of commerce\, StoneAge Construction\, and Andy’s Fish house. \nDirectly after the parade come to the Carnegie lawn (on the corner of 1st street and Cedar Ave) where you can find our interactive circus performers\, epic eating contests and other activities. Across the street you’ll find the Snohomish Lion’s beverage garden and main stage. Explore the Maker’s market\, grab a bite at one of the food trucks and head back to the beverage area to relax and catch some tunes! \nFor the first time ever\, we would like to introduce the Snohomish Kid’s art exhibit inside the Carnegie Building. Art is being curated to be displayed for this weekend only. Artists will be onsite demonstrating their craft. \nSunday we wrap up the weekends events with a Historic Downtown Snohomish Hoedown!
