DESCRIPTION:Umoja Fest 2026 and Africatown Heritage Parade span for more than eight decades as an annual celebration and tradition in the heart of Seattle’s Central District located at Judkin’s Park. \nThis artistic and cultural extravaganza uniquely touches the spirit of the African American Community and has historically been one of the most unifying and anticipated events for summer in Seattle. \nThe Festival brings people of all ethnic backgrounds together for a celebration of music\, economic empowerment\, culture\, education\, social festivities and networking. The event highlights activities such as popular Africatown Heritage Parade\, Soul in the City Stage\, Afrobeats/Vibez Stage\, Children’s/Teens Village\, Community Resource Fair\, Fitness and Wellness Circle\, The Best of Both Worlds Fashion Show\, Vendor and Food Marketplace and the VR Tech Lounge. \nUmoja Fest is a cultural festival that celebrates Art and Culture and the countless contributions of African-Americans in the Community. \nThe celebration gives people for all over the Pacific Northwest an opportunity to experience rich African heritage and culture from all over the world.
