Boeing Air Show at Home

Missing the Blue Angels this year? So are we!

We can't be celebrating this year together so we wanted to share a few fun activities for you and your family to create your own Boeing Seafair Air Show at home! Activities include a full virtual performance by the US Blue Angels - complete with narration and Fat Albert! You'll also discover an example of a great home video as an inspiration for your own video, paper airplane "how to's" to test your skills, and a Blue Angel jet for you to make for your very own. Take photos of your projects and tag us #BOEINGINWA. Who knows, maybe we'll select your pictures and videos for inclusion in a future video of our own. Have fun, be creative, and dream of the Boeing Seafair Air Show next summer!

Seafair Virtual Blue Angels Air Show

The performance here is from the Virtual Blue Angels, a team of flight simulator pilots who recreate the United States Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration via a commercial flight simulator called DCS World. Similar to how iRacing works for simulating auto racing, each aircraft is flown by a virtual pilot on their home computer connected to each other via the internet. For other shows, visit

The pilots for the demonstration are:

#1 Flight Leader: Nathan "Rhino" Truninger from Davenport, IA
#2 Right Wing: Roger "Dreadnaut" Sewell from Boise, ID
#3 Left Wing: Aubrey "Rogue" Pogue from Meridian, MS
#4 Slot: Ian "Burner" Roberts from Orlando, FL
#5 Lead Solo: Steven "BK" Peterson from Weeki Wachee, FL
#6 Opposing Solo: Anthony "Blaze" Echavarria from Orlando, FL
#7 Narrator: Tyler "Gonzo" Gonzales from New Orleans, LA
Fat Albert M1: Thomas "Gorlow" Parks from Albuquerque, NM
Fat Albert M2: Jeremy "Elmo" LaForest from Wichita, KS
Maintenance Officer: Joe "Grin" Grinnelli from North Caldwell, NJ
