Seattle Dragon Boat Festival

The annual Seattle Dragon Boat Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duanwu Festival, commemorates the ancient poet Qu Yuan and includes dragon boat races, food, and folk entertainment. Our festival strives to bring this exciting and vibrant tradition to Seattle, with dragon boat races on Lake Union with plenty of viewing for spectators, and Asian cultural performances, food trucks, vendors, and activities in Lake Union Park.
The festival is hosted by the Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to further awareness and participation in the sport of dragon boating. This is a family-friendly event with free admission, we invite you to join us for a celebration of Asian sport and culture!
