Gates open at 3 PM and close at 9PM.

Guests must leave the park shortly after the fireworks end. The park closes at 10:45 PM.

The fireworks start at roughly 10:15 PM.

Yes. Gates closed early in 2024 once the event reached capacity. Secure your free ticket to guarantee entry.

We encourage you to take public transit, ride-share, or bicycle (free bike corral) as the traffic and parking can be challenging.

Yes. Premium and reserved seating is also available.

Yes. Tents need to be taken down by sunset to allow all guests to view the fireworks unobstructed.

Yes. The entertainment schedule will be released in June, prior to the event.

Absolutely not. They will be confiscated and disposed of without return.

Use of drones is strictly prohibited by law and will be prosecuted. See drone policy.

No, everyone who attempts to access the park via the water will be turned away by park security.

No drinking, stay outside the buoys, stay away from the fireworks barge (exclusion zone), be mindful of boaters and kayakers, follow directions from Coast Guard, Seattle Police Department, and Seafair Emergency Management Team.

Gas Works Park is challenging from an ADA standpoint. We encourage those with mobility issues to consider attending the festivities at the Lake Union Park location where there are paved/flat surfaces and reserved ADA seating options.

The All-American games are classic fair-style family events including sack races, pie eating contest, tug-of-war, and balloon toss.

There is a routine security screening (bag check) to enter the park.

Seafair Weekend Festival

No. General Admission at the gate is free, but Premium Experience access (Grandstands, The Deck, Hydroplane Pits, Captain’s Club) and parking are charged at the regular rate.

There are 3 ways to enter Seafair Weekend Festival at Genesee Park:

The main entrance is located at Genesee Park & Playfield at the corner of 43rd Ave S & S Genesee St.

The North Entrance is located at Lake Washington Blvd S and Lake Park Dr S.

The South Entrance is located at 49th Ave S and Lake Washington Blvd S.

Military Discounts are offered on General Gate Admission Charges by presenting a valid Military ID on the day of event.

General Gate Admission is waived for active Military and discounted 50% for spouse / family / retired with proper ID presented at the gate for admission.

*Please note, due to the limited number of seats, Military discounts are not available for our premium experiences (Captain’s Club, Grandstand Seating, The Deck, etc.).

The Deck

Yes, your admission into Seafair is included.

Note: Admission to Seafair is free on Friday.

Yes, you must check into the Deck to receive your wristband that will allow you access to the hydroplane pits throughout the day.

No, you will need to purchase daily tickets into The Deck.

The Deck will have limited lite bites and snacks available to The Deck ticket holders at certain times throughout the day, but we encourage guests to purchase food from our amazing food vendors and bring it in as well.

Yes, there will be dedicated restrooms available for The Deck attendees only.

The Deck will be open the same hours as Seafair. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9AM – 5:30PM.

The Blue Angels will perform roughly between 3:30PM – 4:30PM daily.

Yes, The Deck will have water and a selection of non – alcoholic beverages for purchase.

Yes, if you purchase a ticket for your child they can come into The Deck.

Yes. Cash or credit.

No animals will be permitted inside The Deck.

Yes, all food purchased from vendors onsite at Seafair will be allowed into The Deck. No coolers and no outside beverages allowed in. Bags will be checked.

The Deck will have lounge seating, chairs, tables and bar tops. There is no reserved seating or reserved tables inside The Deck.

Yes, there will be some shaded space available for parts of the day in The Deck.

No. There will be no refunds on tickets to The Deck.

No, no outside chairs will be permitted. There will be lounge seating available for guests. If you are looking for a designated seat to watch the hydroplanes and the airshow we recommend the Grandstands or Captain’s Club.

Captain’s Club

Yes. The shuttle service is reserved for ADA and makes trips from the ADA parking lot to the Captain’s Club with stops on the way.

Yes. There is a bar with beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

Yes. The menu will be released later in the summer.

Yes. However, seating is reserved so based on your seat selection this may not be the case.

Grandstand Seating

Seating is first-come, first-served.

No. Trees or awnings would obstruct the view of the air show from the grandstands.

There are refreshments available in the main vendor area of the park and a water refill station nearby.

Stan Sayres Hydroplane Pits

No. Pit passes are upgraded after you’ve purchased admission to the park. Note that general admission is Free on Friday, August 1st powered by Xfinity.

The Hydroplane Pits is a ticketed area where visitors can get up-close with hydroplanes, racers, and their crews.

Yes, you must check into the Deck to receive your wristband that will allow you access to the hydroplane pits throughout the day.

Yes, there will be dedicated restrooms available for The Deck attendees only.

There is an ADA shuttle that picks up riders at the ADA parking lot and the Captain’s Club and bring them to the intersection of 43rd Ave S. and Lake Washington Blvd S. It is a short walk to the hydroplane pits from there.

Purchase your wristband across from the Pit Entrance at the Pit Pass Sales booth or purchase ahead of time online.

No, you will need to purchase daily tickets into The Deck.

Also, expect a bag search and metal detector scan similar to stadium events and airport screening in order to enter the event.

There is no parking for this event at the airport. Attendees must park off-site and take the Seafair shuttle to the festivities.

Blue Angels Walk Down

No. Tables and chairs are provided.

Food and drinks are available for purchase at the event.

The tickets purchase entitles you to receive free parking off site and free transportation via Seafair Shuttle to the Boeing airfield ramp site and back.

A shuttle to and from the event site is included with your ticket purchase, however, you may choose to take alternate transportation such as ride-share. Just remember that no parking related to the Walk Down is available at Boeing airfield during this event.

No. The Blue Angels Walk Down experience is a separate event from the air show over Lake Washington.

The air show is not visible from this location.

If you wish to see the air show a separate purchase is required for the festival at Genesee Park. We recommend you take light rail to the Columbia City Station and catch the free Seafair Shuttle Bus to Genesee Park from there.

You must have a ticket to ride the shuttle.

Tickets are available for specific times to catch our shuttle from a location near Boeing Field to the Blue Angels Ramp. We will give priority for ticket holders who arrive during their designated window to ride the shuttle

You must be on a shuttle by 2:45PM to catch the Blue Angels Walk Down. The shuttle will run starting at 1:00PM and the last shuttle will leave the Blue Angels Walk Down site at 5:00PM

Tickets will be available during the following shuttle times:

1:00PM – 1:30PM
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 2:30PM
2:30PM – 2:45 PM

After 2:45 PM shuttles will continue to run until 5PM – There is no guarantee to see the Blue Angel Walk Down if you are on the shuttle after 2:45PM.

Seafair Triathlon

Yes!

We are SO excited to host over 1,400 triathletes at Seward Park this year.Seattle’s ONLY Triathlon will once again take over the shores of Lake Washington this summer, and Seward Park is the perfect backdrop for this flat, fast, and picturesque triathlon course in the shadows of Downtown Seattle.

We have events for children and adults of all athletic levels.

The transition area will be open and supervised starting at 6:00 a.m. on July 20th.

For the safety of all participants, only registered participants will be allowed in the transition area. Participants may leave their personal belongings in this secure area. Please rack your bike on your designated bike rack, which is determined by your race number.

Seward Park in Seattle, Washington

Gerk’s Ski & Cycle bike mechanics will also be located in the transition zone and available to make quick adjustments to your bike before the event. Gerk’s will be available when the triathlon opens, starting at 6:00 am.

Athletes can rack their bikes the morning of the race. Saturday bike racking will not be allowed in. Nobody without a race bib and body marking will be allowed in the transition zone on race day.

We love our furry friends, but they’re not allowed.

Children 2 and under do not need a ticket for the Seafair 4th of July brought to you by Amazon and Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade. Standard lap-seating rules apply.

For Seafair Weekend Festival, Children 5 and younger are free. Discounted tickets for youth ages 6-12 and seniors 65+ are available.

Yes! Seafair believes its events should be fun for everyone.

We have dedicated areas and activities for children and families, along with dedicated activities and Beer and Beverage Gardens for those 21+.

No. The pits are located in the heart of the festival and there is no public parking available anywhere nearby.

Ticket Sales

We anticipate the website offering tickets for purchase in early Spring.

Reserved area ticketing entitles you access into the restricted access area and offers first come-first served folding chair seating. In and out privilege is granted to ticket holders within the reserved section.

Seafair can control access into the reserved area, however, we are not able to ensure reservation of a specific seat, therefore it is recommended that someone in your party is always present to ensure that no one mistakenly occupies chairs that you have selected.

Premium Experiences (i.e. Blue Angels Walk Down, Captain’s Club, reserve and grandstand seating, etc.) do not offer discounts of any kind due to the overall limited number of tickets available.

Seafair will again be offering courtesy weekend race passes for select Genesee neighbor properties this year.

All requests must be received no later than July 27th and tickets will be sent via email.

All Seafair run booths (admission, merchandise) are cashless and will only accept debit/credit cards for purchases. Most food vendors will accept cash.
