Where should we send your Seafair Weekend media credentials?

Privacy and Rights Compliance Agreement for Seafair Weekend Media Pass Holders:

As a media pass holder for Seafair Weekend, I hereby acknowledge and agree to comply with the event’s privacy and rights policies. I understand that Seafair takes the privacy and well-being of its attendees seriously, and it is essential to respect the rights of all individuals present at the event. By accepting this media pass, I commit to the following terms:

Image and Video Consent:
I will obtain explicit consent from any individual before capturing their image or video for media coverage, interviews, or any promotional materials related to Seafair. I understand that capturing images or video of minors requires parental or legal guardian consent.

Interview Consent:
I will seek permission from any attendee, participant, or staff member before conducting interviews and using their quotes or statements in my coverage. I will respect their right to decline participation or withdraw consent at any time.

Sensitive Information Avoidance:
I will refrain from capturing or reporting on any sensitive, private, or confidential information disclosed by individuals or participants during the event, except with explicit consent.

Respectful Content Creation:
I will create media content that is respectful, accurate, and adheres to professional journalism standards. I will not produce content that may incite violence, promote discrimination, or harm the reputation of Seafair or its participants.

Non-Intrusive Coverage:
I will exercise discretion and sensitivity when covering private moments or emotional situations. I understand that Seafair is a celebration, and I will focus on capturing the positive spirit of the event.

Respect for Organizers’ Guidelines:
I will comply with any specific guidelines provided by Seafair organizers regarding media coverage, designated press areas, and event access.

Non-Commercial Use:
I acknowledge that the media pass is for journalistic purposes only and that I will not use any media captured during the event for commercial or promotional gain without obtaining separate written permission from Seafair organizers.

Intellectual Property Rights:
I acknowledge that all media content created during Seafair Weekend remains the intellectual property of [Media Organization or Freelance], and I grant Seafair non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use and publish the content for promotional and archival purposes.

Indemnity and Liability:
I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Seafair and its organizers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from my media coverage or actions during the event. I hereby confirm that I have read and understood this Privacy and Rights Compliance Agreement and agree to abide by its terms throughout my coverage of Seafair Weekend.
