Seafair 4th of July brought to you by Amazon is the best way to experience Independence Day in the Pacific Northwest.

Celebrate the 4th of July with us at Gas Works Park and enjoy free seating as you enjoy the fireworks! For an enhanced experience, upgrade to premium reserved seating, offering several comfortable vantage points to enjoy the festivities.

This fun-packed event features a host of pre-show activities during the day including the family favorite All-American games complete with pie eating contest, sack races, water balloon toss, tug of war, hula hoops, and more!

The evening culminates with a fully choreographed (and musically-timed) fireworks presentation offering a spectacular experience in downtown Seattle you won’t want to miss.

Parking & Transportation

There is free parking in the surrounding Gas Works Park neighborhood but finding spots can be difficult.

Give yourself extra time and pack your patience. Consider rideshare, carpooling, or public transportation.

Also, there is also a bike corral at the event site for those who prefer an alternative mode to travel.

IMPORTANT: There is no ADA parking on N. Northlake Way across from the park this year.

Event FAQs

Gates open at 3 PM and close at 8PM.

Guests must leave the park shortly after the fireworks end. The park closes at 10:45 PM.

The fireworks start at roughly 10:15 PM.

Yes. Gates close to the public at 8:00PM at our Gas Works Park event. Attendees with reserved seats or VIP tickets can still enter at the East Gate until 10:00PM with ticket proof.

We encourage you to take public transit, ride-share, or bicycle (free bike corral) as the traffic and parking can be challenging.

Yes. Premium and reserved seating is also available.

Yes. Tents need to be taken down by sunset to allow all guests to view the fireworks unobstructed.

Yes. The entertainment schedule will be released in June, prior to the event.

Absolutely not. They will be confiscated and disposed of without return.

Use of drones is strictly prohibited by law and will be prosecuted. See drone policy.

No, everyone who attempts to access the park via the water will be turned away by park security.

No drinking, stay outside the buoys, stay away from the fireworks barge (exclusion zone), be mindful of boaters and kayakers, follow directions from Coast Guard, Seattle Police Department, and Seafair Emergency Management Team.

Gas Works Park is challenging from an ADA standpoint. We encourage those with mobility issues to consider attending the festivities at the Lake Union Park location where there are paved/flat surfaces and reserved ADA seating options.

The All-American games are classic fair-style family events including sack races, pie eating contest, tug-of-war, and balloon toss.

There is a routine security screening (bag check) to enter the park.
