About The Event

The Seafair Kickoff Celebration presented by Bank of America is the official start to Seattle summer and the Seafair event season. Taking place on none other than the first day of Summer at Pier 62 on the newly renovated Seattle Waterfront, this event unites the city and introduces an incredible lineup of events hosted by Seafair in 2025.

Join us for live music, an exhilarating “Can You Ride It?” performance presented by Best Day Brewing, Seawolves rugby action, Seafair Pirates encounters, U.S. Coast Guard activities, and more!

This event is free and open to the public with a reserved ticket!

Driving Directions

From I-5 North, take the Madison Street/Convention Place exit. Stay straight to go onto 7th Ave. Take the first left onto Madison Street. Turn right onto Alaskan Way. Pier 62 is on the left adjacent to Pine Street.

From I-5 South, take exit 165A toward James Street. From right lane, merge onto 6th Avenue. Turn right on Columbia Street. Turn right on 1st Avenue. Turn left on Madison Street. Turn right onto Alaskan Way. Pier 62 is on the left adjacent to Pine Street.

On public transit, Pier 62 is easily accessed by bus, light rail, ferry, or water taxi.
