Seattle Bon Odori

Celebrating our 93rd Seattle Bon Odori! Bon Odori is a centuries old Japanese Buddhist festival which celebrates and honors the lives of deceased family and friends. We consider this a happy time as we remember the contributions of those who came before us with a deep sense of gratitude and thanksgiving. Look forward to folk dancing in the street, delicious food, beer garden with live music, cultural displays and demonstrations. All are welcome to join in the dancing.
