We are excited to announce the Seafair Community Hero program, an evolution of the Miss Seafair role that celebrates young leaders aged 18 and older who are making a positive impact in their communities. This program is designed to connect with and reflect the diverse communities we serve, highlighting individuals who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and a passion for creating change.
As a Seafair Community Hero, you will have the opportunity to amplify your voice, showcase your contributions, and engage a wider audience. We believe in the power of community involvement and aim to inspire others through your story and actions.
Each experience is unique to the individual. We understand that everyone has their own interests and goals, which is why we collaborate closely with each Community Hero to curate a personalized Seafair experience. This summer will be crafted to highlight your specific talents, advocacy, and vision for change. Whether your passion lies in social media, environmental advocacy, science, technology, or arts and culture, we will tailor the experience to help you thrive.
You can nominate yourself or someone you know who embodies the spirit of a Community Hero. This individual may advocate for important issues such as racial justice, gender equality, environmental sustainability, homelessness, gun violence awareness, and more. Their efforts to raise awareness and drive meaningful change will not only impact the community but also inspire others to take action.
