Air Show Performers
U.S. Navy Blue Angels
Since 1946, the Blue Angels have performed for more than 500 million fans. Their mission is to showcase the teamwork and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.
U.S. Navy C-130 Fat Albert
Fat Albert is a United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130J Super Hercules that is used by the Blue Angels for their logistics. In-between shows, it hauls other Blue Angels team members, luggage, and equipment from town to town across America. Fat Albert traditionally kicks off every Blue Angels performance with a flyby and maneuvers of its own.
U.S. Army Silver Wings
Established in 1965, the Silver Wings is a parachute demonstration team with its roots dating back to 1958 when it was founded by members of the Airborne-Air Mobility Command. Since their inaugural jump the Silver Wings have played a pivotal role in motivating numerous airborne students by demonstrating the capabilities and expertise of today’s airborne forces through their parachute exhibitions.
U.S. Marine Corps F-35B
This vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) variant of the F-35 family will showcase its unique versatility and agility, demonstrating its ability to operate from amphibious assault ships and austere, expeditionary airfields. The F-35B’s remarkable hovering and precise maneuverability, coupled with its advanced sensor systems, promise an unforgettable display of aerial prowess.
U.S. Air Force F-16 w/ P-51 Mustang
In a dazzling display of aerial mastery, the modern U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon soars in tandem with the historic P-51 Mustang at the annual air show. The agile F-16 demonstrates state-of-the-art flight control systems, showcasing rapid maneuvers and precision aerobatics, while the Heritage Flight P-51 Mustang offers nostalgic charm with graceful, powerful strokes. Together, they epitomize a unique fusion of innovation and tradition, bridging eras with breathtaking formation flying and dynamic performance.
Melissa Dawn Burns
Melissa is a professional aerobatic pilot and at 22 years old she became the youngest female member of the United States Unlimited Aerobatic Team in history. She placed 3rd overall in the 2015 World Aerobatic Championships after 10 years of competing at the Unlimited World Level. Melissa was named as an inductee to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Chancellor’s Hall of Fame in 2015 in Prescott, AZ. Today she travels with her team performing in air show displays for audiences worldwide.
Torrey Ward’s Microjet
Torrey Ward’s microjet ignites the air show with electrifying aerobatic displays, pushing performance boundaries. This tiny marvel, weighing under 500 lbs, boasts a formidable PBS TJ-100 engine delivering 259 lbs of thrust for speeds up to 300 mph. It executes exhilarating loops, rolls, and half-Cuban 8s, generating intense G-forces while defying gravity. With agile precision and innovative design, the microjet captivates audiences, transforming the skies into a stage of adrenaline-pumping, unforgettable flight performance and excitement.
U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III
Prepare for a breathtaking display of airborne might as the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III graces the skies above Seattle. This massive, strategic airlift aircraft will showcase its impressive agility and versatility, defying expectations for an aircraft of its size. Spectators can expect awe-inspiring low-level flyovers, impressive tactical maneuvers, and the sheer power of the C-17’s four turbofan engines.
U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo
Watch in awe as highly trained Coast Guard professionals operate rescue helicopters, showcasing their precision and efficiency while executing life-saving operations. With a focus on teamwork, advanced technology, and unwavering commitment to saving lives, the U.S. Coast Guard’s SAR demo promises to be a thrilling tribute to the crucial role they play in safeguarding our maritime communities.
PBY-5A Catalina 9767
The Consolidated PBY Catalina is a flying boat and amphibious aircraft that was produced in the 1930s and 1940s. In Canadian service it was known as the Canso. It was one of the most widely used seaplanes of World War II. Catalinas served with every branch of the United States Armed Forces and in the air forces and navies of many other nations.
Boeing 777-9
The new Boeing 777-9 will be the largest and most fuel-efficient twin-engine jet in the world, with an exceptional passenger experience. Boeing has invested more than $1 billion in its Everett, Wash. site to design and build the 777-9, 777-8 Freighter and 777-8 airplanes — the 777X family — for decades to come.

Parking & Transportation
The ADA parking lot is located on 43rd and Genesee. This is first-come-first-serve. The lot fills up quickly, please come early for a spot.
Fans are invited to get to the park using public transportation, including Metro and Link Light Rail, as well as ride-share and bicycle options. Guests arriving via Link Light Rail can get off at the Columbia City station and take advantage of our free round-trip shuttle service from the station to the park Friday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Our complimentary shuttle stops at the ADA parking lot on 43rd and Genesee, Main Gate, 43rd & Lake Washington Boulevard, and then Captains Club.
Seating Options for the Hydroplane Races & Boeing Airshow:
- Captains Club is a great seating option for all-day access that includes food and drink and a shaded area.
- Grandstand Reserved Seats provide a spectacular lake front view of all the action. Get off the Seafair Shuttle at the Lake Washington Blvd. and make your way toward the pit entrance.
- Open Seating is Available Near South Turn Beach, first come – first serve.
